I have to agree with Alistair and Aaron's comments on this. Win95/98 is not
the problem, it is more often than not your application. However, Windows
likes as much memory as you can throw at it and I have very few problems at
all since putting in 256Mb. I NEVER let my system disk get less than 200Mb
free space - let's face it, 13Gb drives are only $350!! Get rid of FindFast,
Office shortcut bars and Office startup crap.

NT will provide some protection from lockups caused by bad programming, but
hey I've locked up NT a few times as well. Memory leaks are always a problem
(even the best software has them), and I wish someone would produce a
program which would tell me in plain english if my program doesn't clean up
after itself (I've never had a week free to find out how to use Winsight).
