Oh yeah? I regularly see the resource meter yellow and red on my PC with
just a small number of applications open. It used to be much worse in
Windows 3.1, we used to run an Access database that exported its data to
excel, with just those two programs running the meter would regularly dip
into the red at which point the system crashed.

The same is true of 95/98, the resources are not infinite, adding more
memory or disk or whatever will not increase them, and Delphi uses a lot of
them for one reason or another when it's running. The 90% of resources in
use warning is something I see almost every day. (My PC has 64MB and runs a
permanent 64MB swapfile)
