enermax power supplies have a model that the fan speeds are temperature
controlled so they are quieter.
There are also some on the market that have no fan - just huge heat sinks -
don't know how reliable these are.

Can you tell me what spec (Is it just RAM speed that you are referring to?

Think I'd take the risk.
