We had a full MS audit at my work late last year. Whilst we thought we DID have lic.s for everything, we were about 20 MSSQL Server Lics short. That's 20 SERVER lics btw. But it was a genuine mistake, and MS just said buy the lics and it will be fine. In Chrissys case, they prob. Will do the same there if they did an audit. Lets face it, why spend $$ prosecuting a company when they can still get their $$ by saying "look you have been naughty, but just buy the lics and that will be ok". Its win win for them....no $$ spent taking the company to court, and they actually GET $$ because the company BUYS some extra lics....hehehe...its cunning ;-)

I think the point Maurice was getting at was that they're less likely to realize that a security audit will likely get them snapped for theft. -- Corey Murtagh The Electric Monk "Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum viditur!" _______________________________________________ Offtopic mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://ns3.123.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/offtopic _______________________________________________ Offtopic mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://ns3.123.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/offtopic
