On that note I think my car has it won. I bought it in Auckland and
drove up there in a rental car which I had had for a month care of the
insurance company as my daughter wrote off my Camry. It was the
second rental as the first had water in the front two headlights. This
one had two worn tyres - both had the steel belt showing through.
On the way to Auckland the brakes failed. It took about 2 kms to
stop as it was a steep hill. As this was in early January the rental
company had no other veichles available so I kept this one for the
rest of the trip. It was the drive from hell.

I picked up my nice red sports car at about 4:30pm (only about 6 hours
late). I had a friend with me and we decided to take it for a drive. At
about 11pm we were in the city and he was driving. We stopped and
asked someone for directions. The roof was off - the car was looking
good - it is a red sports car - the woman we asked stepped off the
footpath and stuck her head in the car in front of me, totally ignoring
me, and talked to my "frined". She offered to hop in (it is a two seater
car) and show him how to get there. She said that he could come back
and get me when he knew were he was going.

BTW - this guy is no Brad Pitt.

I have been asked if my son lets me drive his car often.

Chrissy.
