Defending the GTHO's:

1. Fastest 4 door sedans in the world at the time.
2. Looks as good today as it did 35 years ago.
3. Were the fastest 4 door production car in the world in their day,
unsurpassed on the track
4. See above. Also held the figures for fastest standing 400m, for a locally
produced car until 1995. (Australia)

Jeremy:
The Torana's were racing when the GTHO's were coming to an end of there
racing life so not really a valid comparison, but the GTHO's p*ssed all over
the Monaros of the day.

Hi

I'd suggest the criteria should be (in not particular order)

1/ The technical significance
2/ Design/Looks/Girl or Boy pulling potential
3/ Sporting history
4/ Performance

Sorry the Mc F1 doesn't do it for me, barely a prototype
that broke down when they raced it

Another for the list Cisitalia 202 Coupe
