Well...Everyone is missing the seriously obvious..... Mini Cooper S ! lets face it, it out lasted everyone of the cars below in production....it won Bathurst, its got class, a certain amount of chick pulling power (speaking from experience), can kick arse when the engine is tweaked, easy to drive, sticks to the road.....you can still buy brand new parts for them, cheap to run....except when you put bigger needles in the twin carbs ;-) and generally, a good car...AND kept nice, they still fetch a damn good price ! A guy at my work has a cooper in bits in his garage, was offered $10k no questions asked and thecar was not even seen by the prespective buyer.....unfortunitly mine is just a Mini GT, but one day I will get a cooper :-D
Oh and one factory extra...if you get the right kind of mini, it will give it self an oil change every few months...hehehe
