We are agreed that CC status confers eligibility to vote. The
constitution provides four ways that can be revoked (section 4.3)

"A Member's membership shall be terminated upon the expiration of all
prior grants of Core Contributor status or upon his or her earlier
resignation, removal, or death."

There is no mention of Auth account status in there, just as there was
no mention in there of the requirement last year to have a SSH key
registered. Last year we were adding SSH keys for people right up until
the wire, yet this year we are being asked not to do the exactly
equivalent operation in the new system.

Has the OGB contacted the leaders of the CGs of the people it wants to
prohibit from voting? As CGs are responsible for granting CC status I'm
unclear as to how the OGB can remove it from members without the
agreement of the affected CCs.

What verification step? Are you referring to the requirement for Sun
Employees to verify their employee status? Or are you referring for the
request for people to provide two security questions and update their
account details?
