Mike Kupfer has the following proposed clarifying amendment, with which
I agree:

Replace:

> Quite clearly these two activities have virtually no connection with
> each other. I would therefore like to propose that the Website Project
> be promoted to a Community. This proposal also subsumes the "Website
> Editorial Committee" [3] which was proposed by John Plocher at the OGB
> meeting on 14th November 2007.

With:

> While there are some shared areas of interest between the Tools and
> Website communities (e.g. the web application for the SCM system),
> it's not an extensive overlap. And as the web infrastructure evolves to
> allow plug-in services, there will be even less inherent connection
> between the Website work and the other Tools work. In contrast,
> website content and infrastructure issues are inherently connected
> (systemic changes to one will often result in changes to the other).
> I would therefore like to propose that the Website Project be promoted
> to a Community. This proposal also subsumes the "Website Editorial
> Committee" [3] which was proposed by John Plocher at the OGB meeting
> on 14th November 2007.
