1. Nobody at Wizards of the Coast in any management capacity is unhappy in
any way with the Creature Catalog. In fact [reaching] I have mine right
here by my PC so I can read it while waiting for various ongoing tasks to
finish processing. I had to bring it home because so many people kept
borrowing it to show off that I was worried it wouldn't make it back to my
desk!
2. When we got copies of the Creature Catalog in the office, I ran up and
down the main hallway like a proud pappa, showing the book off to all and
sundry and crowing about how it was "proof" that the concept was working.
(Sorry John & Chris - I did my crowing about 3D2K and Death in Freeport at
GenCon... :) )
3. Wizards of the Coast is selling the Creature Catalog in our own stores.
In fact, at the WotC store just up the street from me, they have about a
dozen stacked right in front of the POS area in a display with PHBs and
DMGs.
