Well, if you look at the early days of rpging, a lot of the early
products were not professionally printed (or edited or had great
graphics).
If you had a laser printer, you could probably print out stuff that
looks better than those, and sell it either locally, or through the
mail directly. Or you can sell them as electronic documents, either
via the web, or via the mail by cd-r.
Obviously, you wouldn't get rich, but not many of the professional rpg
companies get rich, either...
