Not sure what the current plans are given WotC's general back scaling and
rescheduling, but back a European GenCon '99 Peter Adkinson announced that
'ol Mr Gygax would be getting a 320 page book to fill as he saw fit. The
only restraint was that it would be for 3rd Edition d20 D&D, but other than
that he was to have a free hand.
