[ogf-d20-l] VP/WP substitution

Nicholas Caldwell's Guild Companion has a good conversion for the
substitution of VP/WP in the place of HP in a standard d20 system. Does
everyone feel it valid to be within the terms of the STL to use VP/WP in
printed d20 game material, or would it be a violation since it is not in the
SRD? I am still writing my Old West d20 game and VP/WP fits the genre much
