Hello.

Despite the fact there are racial cultures, each race have cultures
depending on area. I mean, for example in real world, english, american and
french peoples have differents cultures. In game, most aspects of these
should be considered role-playing stuff, but what for the remaining aspects
?

To take an example based on a sf world, think about Dune (from Frank
Herbert, read it, it's a fabulous book!). Fremen are humans like any other
Imperium inhabitant, but their cultures is very different : we can imagine
they all have a couple of features than no other can have : preserve water,
sand worm riding, high resistance to thirst... That doesn't depends on their
character class, nor on their race.

There is no consideration of this kind in the D&D system. I know these are
campaign-dependant, but I think guidelines would be welcome.

Thoughts ?
