Hmm. I wonder how many gamers have tried to develop a
sports-system beyond the "classical gladiatorial"
games in the context of their games.
The J.R.R. Tolkeins novel _The Hobbit_ has a golf
description in it. Why couldn't we develop, I guess
like Warhammer's snotball (I don't play Warhammer), a
pseudo-sport for our games.
Throw in some magic, and the fantasy world takes off.
I'd rather not hear the modern-times references to pop
culture, but I guess being the non-sport junky I don't
get it. Spike the dwarfball, pass the elfskin, punt
the whole thing over the fence, so we can get on
gaming.
But if the characters had to play the game, what type
of game would it be?
