I suppose you could use the scheme for the WP, but it seemed too harsh. I
have not played with the VP/WP system, so I don't know how quickly a
character loses WP. Fading Suns uses a vitality track that uses the above
modifiers for the size component, with endurance filling the rest
(essentially 5+(3 to 10). The Wound system will average 8-24 WP by
comparison (d20SW less). The beauty of this penalty range on the last 5 WP
is that it generally forces characters to drop out of a fight from wound
effects before passing out. I indirectly keeps them alive in the more
leathal system, and allows for genuine desperate heroism against
overwhelming odds. My personal WP system only uses CON for WP and VP=HP-WP.
All criticals score 1 WP per multiple of CON damage.
