I would say use the open rules. That is what they are there to do. To be used by
those that want to use them. However they want to be used.

Contrary to how I seem to be coming across, i have absolutely no problem with
members of the community (in this case the Open Gaming Community) using the
rules that are a part of the community.

It is the "members" - those that don't contribute but yet only take from the
community that I don't particularly care for. Since i have yet to see anyone
like that, I'm not sure it is much of a problem at the moment. However, now is
when we set precedence.
