BTW if you want to get a quick start, you have an option to create your game on City 
Overseer 3D
platform. I had not covered that part here due to forum specifics, but City Overseer 
has ability to
create awesome 3D games in good hands. You can create Sierra-style quests, text 
adventures, even
online MUD like EQ - and in full 3D of course. (However doing games requires very good 
knowledge of
JavaScript. Simple static 3D maps for pen & paper adventures are much easier to 
create. )

Pretty much already done. And its very easy to upgrade to any level of complexity you 
want just by
inheriting from our RPG classes.

Native import of XML file. XML data will appear as an object with properties. 
Significant part of
SRD is converted to XML in d20-xml list. Additional monsters, items can be very 
naturally added as
needed.
