In my opion the discussion is moving outside the scope of this mailing list

is in my opinion very incomplete and describes part that are only used
indirectly (through localize_sl), furthermore this subject is covered in
high detail and with up to date information on:

http://ooo-site.apache.org/l10n/ooo_readme_how_to.sxw,
it might be possible to do it that way but to my best knowledge the readme
file is passed by localize_sl just like all other files. We do not have a
special readme.sdf file.

This is the fact as I see them, but not a recommendation for removal !
