Something else to consider. Perhaps the messages are spam with a forged address of the list server.

Come On folks.

Its obvious that these people are not aware they signed on or joined this list.
REGARDLESS of how it happen,
It surprises me that there is no mechanism to unsubscribe them.

Take Care.

Sir or Madam, I receive SPAM as your company sends to me everyday.

There is no "company" and this list is not SPAM. It´s a discussion list,
also known as a "mailing list".

Nobody can subscribe you, you must have done it yourself, or someone else
with access to your computer. And you can unsubscribe yourself.

Copy the following email address and send a new (blank) message to this
address, then follow the instructions

ooo-users-unsubscr...@incubator.apache.org
<A HREF="mailto:ooo-users-unsubscr...@incubator.apache.org";>
ooo-users-unsubscr...@incubator.apache.org</A>
