Well, that's one approach... whatever one think of IE (I'm one of them) that sh*tty Browser is out there...
I've google'd a bit on the Bootstrap and there are many hits regarding problem with IE... and in general IE8 Seems to be a fix around on the latest release... but I'm not sure what the basis is of "our" Bootstrap...
