I succeeded to create a certificate with the demo ca !!!! So it's a config problem.... That's why nobody has the same problem......
But where is this problem ????? In which config file ??
In config.xml, if i changed the default_charset option to utf-8, i have the problem...
If i changed it to iso-8859-1, i have still the problem....
In openssl.cnf, what are the utf8 (yes by default) and string_mask (utf8only by default) options ?

that looks similar to your requests - if this works we can gi for sure
that it is not an OpenCA Bug but a config issue...
Besides look at the docs provided here for UTF8 setup, perhaps you find
a hint here...
