May I suggest that I verify Gary's recipe first? If it works on a 4 DIMM board
I'll pull the disks from my 6 DIMM machine and test it there also. If it proves
solid over a period of months on a 4 DIMM board I'll consider making it
permanent on the 6 DIMM u8 system.
I can't get to it for a couple of days, but I do maintain a dedicated test
machine for just this purpose.

First shot by Robert. Seems your bug report will go to nowhere as they seems to
refuse to change anything. Should you try a bit harder to persuade them?
