I'll do that.

And, I'll try other debuggers.
I have as well a vintage original parallel port Wiggler,
but also a XDS100v2, and a homemade FT2232H based dongle.

I was just too lazy to solder another connector to my PIC32 board,
as the current dongle (PicoTAP) uses 10 pin, the XDS100 14, and the
FT2232H dongle 20.

Also my current computers don't have parallel ports anymore, so I'll
have to revive an old one.

How exactly did you connect the wiggler to the PIC32?
To what is mclr connected?

To check again, the chip I have is a PIC32MX220F032B,
CPUTAPID 0x40916053

I also have other PIC32 boards, homemade and professional, but
none has a JTAG connector. I'd have to add them.
Chips are MX360, MX460, MX795.

BTW: Did anybody ever test an Altera  USB Blaster clone with PIC32?
