mbed.org <http://mbed.org> is pretty neat. A very easy way for beginners to program their board, as they don't need any host tools. Everything is in the cloude. I use it with my undergraduate students a lot. Get's them started quickly on their embedded endeavors.

Thanks again for the clear instructions. Only issue is that of switching over to Windows ... I'll have to suffer that if I can't get Spen's suggestions to work!
