So someone should start writing those documentation, so that it can be
included in the OpenOCD manual instead of requiring every user to ask or
google for these steps.

Simply sitting back and complaining about the lack of documentation
won't fix anything.

You don't have to be a developer to do that: every user that *has*
managed to get it to work should be able to provide some notes on the
problems and how he solved them. Others can then build on top of that.

However, it is important to submit the documentation so it can be
included in the OpenOCD documentation: putting it on some obscure
website or forum will not help - it still requires users to gather the
needed information from multiple sources, which may not be easy to locate.
