I think there are two easy and one difficult solution for your problem. easy 1) You could mirror the OpenPKG stuff on a machine behind the firewall (e.g. using rsync). Using a mirror has quite a few other advantages. easy 2) The OpenPKG people could provide access to the packages over HTTP to support "firewall impaired" users. Actually, this is easy for the _users_, but probably not for the OpenPKG people. difficult) Find the right configuration for IPFilter/FTP. I do not think that a ftp proxy can help here.
