except for CCID all tokens are that. but if you e.g. forget to unplug your token before putting it in a bag or it falls down or something like that: plastik could break, a metal shield might be stronger, but usualy the usb port is the weak part and if that one breaks off or is bend too much, the token cannot be used any more. > Can't remember how it was with the 1.0/1.1 card, which I still have > (but it got locked up a long time ago).
