VRML? ;) It's what we use, but it kinda sucks for more advanced things.

Since OpenSG currently has very little support for animation, I doubt 
that this will happen just because we get a Collada loader. If someone 
starts developing an animation module for OpenSG we might get something 
like that.

If the OpenSG-Collada loader will be able to parse that animation data 
into decent data structures, writing a simple animation library will 
probably be quite easy. (I'm not really updated on Collada, but it seems 
to be some kind of generic format which can hold almost anything, but 
with standards on how to specify all of the usefull stuff.)

We want animation here at my place, but haven't yet found a good way to 
export it from 3ds/maya into OpenSG, so we avoid it for the time being.) 
If the Collada loader turns out nice, I could probably write something 
useful for us, that others might find useful as well (albeit I'll need 
help getting the FCD-stuff right.
