which part ?. As far as I understood it and what I wanted to try first
was a combination of glQuery and glConditionalRender. I have a
rough idea how to integrate it, though I still have to figure
out how to support multiple queries (e.g. in case of multitextures).
I can give the {Pixel|Texture}Buffer objects a try. That should be
reasonably quick to check.
