The testing will be based on the scope and content of the bug. For a simple fix to a utility, it may be sufficient to simply roll your own handmade regression tests. For more complicated changes, such as those to libraries, kernel, or system interfaces, your sponsor will help you get the testing resources that you need. For the near future, this will likely involve you providing BFU archives and having your sponsor submit them to various test runs.
