What it seems to me that you're suggesting is that instead of trying to make sure that people use the tools properly (I agree that they often don't) and that the tools themselves do what we need them to do (sadly, they sometimes don't; FIP is a known sore spot), we should just discard some of the data we've got when we generate this list. I'm not sure that's the right path. I agree that it makes sense, though, if the situation is just hopeless.
