Ok, as long as it doesn't alienate other folks like Nexenta, Gentoo, pkgsrc,

I certainly didn't seem welcome when I had tried to join it in the early days. 
Seems my account and access was removed due to a difference of opinion. I'm 
certainly not trying to dig up old laundry, and Blastwave has come a long way 
since then, but I did have some personal experience before joining Sun.

I look forward to getting all interested parties involved with build such 
software together so that everything can be laid out on the table, it is 
known what folks need, and it is possible to try to come up with some type of 
plan that might suite a good majority of them. Yes, it might mean that folks 
need to sacrifice something in order to work together, but being able to work 
together could be a big plus for all interested parties, IMO.
