As we discussed before, that wasn't appropriate in the context of 
GStreamer plugin, we can't fork a new process every time we need to 
extract a sector. The idea is that Rhythmbox provides "good enough" 
basic functionality. Those who want advanced features is free to use 
cdda2wav and its secret sauce, it ships with Solaris. Let's not go back 
there.
