This seems like an extension of the old "csh" vs. "sh" wars from the old days, but in my experience, one constant remains: Bourne shell for scripts, C shell for interactive use. I think that may be more popular for those of us who cut our teeth in BSD/SunOS way back when. People who grew up in Linux tend to be more into bash. But I don't get completely disgusted when my default shell is bash on a particular system (like Mac OS X since Tiger), I just go ahead and change it to tcsh and don't give it another thought. -john _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
