I say drop it and get a decent dual/quad AMD or Intel box with an NVidia 
graphics card--and you'll never look back. Just make sure that there are 
drivers for your hardware. It's gotten much better with OpenSolaris 
builds/releases, NVidia drivers, OpenSound, etc.
