 From a "migrating Linux user" point of view I second that. Asides the 
fact that the repository (still?) leaves to be extended and the system 
in itself is rather slow sometimes ("Creating Plan ..."), the base ideas 
behind IPS seem reasonable. Moving this back to some (from the IPS point 
of view) "legacy" package format doesn't really seem to provide much 
benefit. ;)
