One of the things I gather from looking at the README for rtld is that there never will be a OpenSolaris release in 2010 and there was one planned at all. See : http://src.opensolaris.org/source/xref/onnv/onnv-gate/usr/src/cmd/sgs/packages/common/SUNWonld-README Note that there is specific references to Solaris 8 and Solaris 10 update 10 and Nevada and even Solaris Nevada (OpenSolaris 2009.06, snv_111) but there is no such thing as OpenSolaris 2010.xx and there never will be. Anything we have heard about a 2010 release of OpenSolaris is just a pack of lies. Prove me wrong if you can. > Actually I kinda liked the GUI from SXCE, I can find a replacement > graphic for the menu button :) I am not a fan of GNOME. That was some internal idea by some Sun folks probably because of all the C++ lib issues they have with KDE. However XFCE is nice and small and lightweight.
