I deleted them all (it must have been tens of thousands of files...). Moreover
I deinstalled zmd and libzypp and manually deleted (backuped) all files I
could find obviously related to this packages in /var and /etc.

After a reinstallation, I still can start, but not stop zmd. And /var/tmp ist
already filled with 4000+ TmpFile.*-files. Still growing as I type this.

The temp-files seem to be PGP-related, an example:
-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
Version: rpm-4.4.2 (beecrypt-4.1.2)
....

Top also shows gpg running and consuming CPU cycles.
