Konqueror does a better job with Java. It does not need a plugin --
uses the real jre runtime.

Which is not true :)
Konqueror ignore security settings. It use javaplugin viewer directly which is bad. Anyway I solve this always by downloading 64b java from sun and sett manualy my environment. It is not so big problem.

Hi Pavel, Where did you get the 64Bit version of JAVA - definitely NOT from SUN as you claim as SUN has never made the 64bit available. I am very interested in this as I need the 64bit java! Thanks & rgds. Otto.
