I would perhaps suggest that the server is under heavy load with the release
of 10.4LTS and the many users upgrading/re-installing the new OS ?

As for trying the individual IP's I *guess* the individuals COULD be configured
to only respond to the aggregator in front of them...

I have tried for about an hour now. Is there another host to use besides "subkeys.pgp.net"? I have tried an nslookup and trying the individual IP's separately to no avail.

The problem you have there is just a networking issue between you
and the keyserver - I had one timeout yesterday when I was
prepping for 3.7, just retry.

When I run the following command in the terminal I received the
following:

sudo gpg --keyserver subkeys.pgp.net --recv-key 77CB2CF6
gpg: requesting key 77CB2CF6 from hkp server subkeys.pgp.net
gpg: keyserver timed out
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error

Is there something I am doing wrong is there a problem with the server?
