Yes that's rite I cant use  D4C5016086B2DC6A as the password

But...

 I can 
SQL> alter user bob identified by newpassword ;

Log on as  bob and make any changes  I want then...

SQL> Update dba_users set password = 'D4C5016086B2DC6A' where user = bob
;

Bob doen not know his account has been modified

I know that's not what he asked but... I havent threw in my 2cts in a
while ;->
And this could prove useful from time to time....
