Thanks Ron. My first several experiences in OS were not high stakes decision making events. More like 3-day symposia about transformation.
So as an introvert I enjoyed butterflying around the grounds, having a few good conversations, and loving the spaciousness. Felt like i found some wisdom to bring back to the final circle just as everyone else had. If I feel coerced to stay in a crowded room full of conversations I may not do well. And there is a learning curve for all convenors in skillfully hosting their topics. I can see getting tired of using the law of mobility to depart topics all day long if i don't feel hosted well. Over to the coffee table (or the bar with Harrison) I go. Just a few thoughts, on my way to opening some space today. Thanks again. Because I myself am an introvert and I love Open Space. Like all mental categories, introversion I assume is on a scale. So perhaps a better statement from this individual may have been - for more extreme introverts, Open Space can be uncomfortable and is not viewed as a safe environment for me to express myself.
