Hi, Martin... I've moved the MYSQL database to the local server for now, but I'm still interested in keeping the MYSQL server on a different machine. I will execute the CheckDB.pl as soon as I can set up that scenario again. Thank you for the pointer!
I've got another problem now, and hopefully I can get some help on this too... Whenever I try to access 'User', to add or modify users I get an 'Internal Server Error'... ------------------------------------------------ '...Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [EMAIL PROTECTED] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log...' ------------------------------------------------ My Apache access_log and error_log say the following: '...67.97.104.242 - - [21/Jul/2003:21:40:58 +0000] "GET /otrs/index.pl?Action=AdminUser HTTP/1.1" 500 612...' '...[Mon Jul 21 21:40:58 2003] [error] Can't locate object method "splitpath" via package "File::Spec" at /opt/otrs/Kernel/cpan-lib/CGI/Carp.pm line 306...' The Apache logs aren't very helpful to me, but I'm hoping that someone out there in OTRSLand can help me to decipher them. I would GREATLY appreciate any help in fixing this since I would really like to put this server in production soon. Regards, Michael Michael Rojas, Systems Admin. What is the error message if you execute "/opt/otrs/bin/CheckDB.pl" on the new machine (connecting to the external DB)? > By the way, I struggled to set up OTRS the first time for a long time, and > after much intensive researching I discovered that it was because I didnt' > have Apache::DBI installed.
