did you also the database upgrade (scripts/DBUpdate-to-2.4.mysql.sql,
scripts/DBUpdate-to-2.4.pl, scripts/DBUpdate-to-2.4-post.mysql.sql)?

I suspect that it's a configuration issue, but I'm not sure where to
look. Any help will be very appreciated.
