well... at least I sucited some new vocation on 1-wire slave projects...
I like open source concept, it is just not easy to keep a business model
compatible with it...
In my project, there is two aspects, a common layer handling 1-wire protocol
and a functionnal layer advertising devices functionnalities.
my solution to avoid nighmare from owfs point of view is to map
device functionalites within a memory map (registers) accesses in an uniform
way.
wrting new functionnalities finally is writing callbacks to event and
register changes...
Today, the bae0910 chips offered are already able to receive an firmware
upgrade with new/other functionalities.
it even could emulate standard ds chips...
I'm still considering the idea to open source this functionnal part...
regarding master, I also have projects to have ethernet to 4x1wire
master....
