It's blobs of XML from various programs. Good point about Azure logging, which I haven't investigated. In my case the logging output doesn't need to be persisted, clients can connect and listen when something interesting is happening (something UDP is great for). If there's a better, simpler way of doing this then I'm keen for suggestions. *GK*
