information affects the design. On the other hand what people want to do
with the data and how they transact it definitely does.

And while everyone is putting in their 2cents I will go on record as
saying 'the freedom of information' is a religious issue. You can debate
it all day but the bottom line is you can no more prove information
wants to be free than you can prove the existence of God.

Maybe it's not so much about proving something is true or false.  Or proving one side is right or wrong.  But that's it is really about understanding the different beliefs.
