Hi Hardy,
I'm sorry to have to ask this but: is it possible for you to maintain two
separate CW Pro 4 and CW Palm R5 installation folders on your Mac? The
reason for it is that R5 (patched) and CW Pro 4 (pre and post-patch) are on
different IDEs and components. Because of the component dependencies it is
not advisable to have both merged using patched components as this may break
for example, MSL on the CW Pro 4 side. (This is why the patch release notes
specify that the patch is _not_ for the merged installations). You will need
the patch debugger from the R5 patch in order to debug to POSE 2.1d26; the
one that ships with R5 is an older version and will not work with 2.1d26.
You can still patch either or both CW Pro 4 and CW Palm OS R5, just make
sure that the patch installs into the correct folder.
I realize that this solution is not ideal and I apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause.
Rgds,
JK Lam
