hey guys,
has anybody tried to display some type of bar-code on a palm's screen? i don't
know if it's doable or not, but i have bunch of records on my palm, and i think
it would be cool to display the bar code of these records on the screen, and
have a scaner to read them from the palm's screen. so here are some of my
questions and i'm wondering if you guys could just throw in some of your
thoughts on this, answers maybe, or whatever helpful.
1. is the resolution good enough to display bar-code to a readable level that a
scaner can read it correctly?
2. is the size of the screen good enought to display bar code, so it doesn't run
off the screen?
3. is it physically doable to have a scanner read data from palm's screen? this
is really a question for bar code scanner venders i guess, but considering there
must be some symbol guys on the list, would you guys comment on this?
any thoughts/reply is appreciated.
